Marta Holbrook
Chief Financial Officer
Marta Holbrook, MS, joined AEquitas as the Chief Financial Officer in June of 2019. With over 14 years of finance experience in the nonprofit sector, she brings her extensive finance, budgeting, and grants management expertise to all business and financial matters at AEquitas.
Marta began her career at the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ), where she was responsible for the financial management of federal awards, as well as budgeting and compliance. She has provided financial training, specialized assistance, and mentoring to other federally funded nonprofit organizations and their finance staff. She has developed policies and procedures to improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the organizations she has worked with and has successfully navigated numerous audits and federal monitoring visits.
Marta received her Master of Science in Finance and Banking from the University of Economics in Poznan, Poland, and has completed the basic and advanced courses in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer Financial Grants Management Training.
Traveling and exploring different cultures are Marta’s passions. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. She is fluent in English and Polish. Marta is based in Boston, MA.
