Katie Douglass

Kathryn Douglass is a Legal Assistant at AEquitas, with experience in office administration, communications, and research. She graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in music and political science. After gaining valuable experience in international education, she embraced an opportunity to teach English as a Foreign Language in Mexico.

In 2021, Kathryn moved to Washington, D.C., where she furthered her education and professional experience. She earned a master’s in public administration from American University while working in nonprofits focused on international development and global health. Passionate about expanding her knowledge in legal research, administration, and advocacy, Kathryn is particularly committed to supporting victims and championing the cause of missing and murdered Indigenous women and children.

In her free time, Kathryn enjoys reading; spending time with her husband, friends, and cat; and getting in a good workout.
