Maximizing OVC’s Survivor Assistance in Court Settings
MOSAICS was a three-year project created to assist courts in implementing trauma-responsive policies to better identify survivors of human trafficking, provide legal and social services tailored to their needs, and reduce the infliction of harm in court proceedings.
MOSAICS took a holistic and survivor-informed approach to the provision of training and technical assistance (TTA) on human trafficking, bringing together all court system actors in a jurisdiction to develop cohesive solutions.
AEquitas partnered with American University's Justice Programs Office on this U.S. Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) funded project.
